Though it's not hard, I managed to fool myself here: the
removable
images are not XO builds (though they were at one
point). They are
for "normal" SoaS usage.
It's only a little odd for me to put an olpc.fth on the
"non-XO"
installs, and only a small increment in the already
ridiculous disk
space usage to make both XO and non-XO .removable images.
Can you offer any guidance as to what you'd use?
Well, I do not think that non-XO removable images are needed for soasXXxo builds.
XO removable builds are very handy since they allow kids to "play" with the XO
and dads/moms with testing :-)
