Thanks for taking a look Ralf.
I added the doxygen-generated API reference to the -devel package as
documentation. There are also doxygen docs for the assimp binary, but they
don't contain any more information than running "assimp --help" does so I
opted
to exclude them.
Part of the reason I repackaged the archive was because the .zip file the
project provides doesn't unzip cleanly into a single directory. I've resolved
this issue by using %setup -c, so the package now uses the project's .zip file.
Bundled libraries are removed in %prep for safety.
New spec and SRPM are located at:
