There has been some discussion about moving the #systemroles IRC channel to libera.chat. I think it is a good idea. Does anyone have an objection?

I suggest everyone go to https://libera.chat/guides/registration and follow the instructions, especially if you want to make sure a particular nick is available. NOTE: It seems to take several hours (or more?) to receive the registration email - I still have not received mine - so I have not created the #systemroles channel yet.

I just happened to be first to grab #systemroles so I snagged it and turned magical powers over to tyll. I figured *just* in case the choice was made to move there, I didn't want any of my favorite communities to lose out on a land grab. :) See y'all on libera.chat!
