May anyone please try to give a bit explanation on what's been asked in the very first
part of the section "Possible Initial Tasks" where we've been asked to port
one of the old tests to use the same format as the new tests.
What does this really mean?

this shows how someone did this:

There are already two other open PRs for the remaining tests. Please
provide feedback there. At least one of them is faulty because it
fails the CI. Maybe you can spot the error and test it locally.

Hi Till,
I did read about all the changes that you have asked me to do for the PR but I just want
to know if I can work over the proposal for now since the final dates for its submission
are round the corner. It would be great help if you can share some specific details that
you're seeking for in the proposal especially the word/page limit.
Moreover, I would definitely be keeping my work for PR, assigned as the initial task,
continued.
