My mobo is a Asus Sabertooth 990FX 1.0, there is some discussion on the forum: http://vip.asus.com/forum/view.aspx?id=20130227151715143&board_id=1&a... I tried to assign a pcie Ethernet card about a year ago (no vfio) and the result was a lockup. I have not tried ever since.
