Oh, you are right. I completely missed the splash because I just right
clicked on the link and selected "save as" - which worked because the
download button already contains correct link to the iso file.
So it turns out that the problem actually is that one can miss
the download splash page (which looks very nice btw). And I
wouldn't dare to guess how many people would miss it in the
same way as I did.
