The httpd hosts allow configuration provides all known internal Red Hat IP addresses (provided by IT several months back). The list can be reviewed for possible updates. My understanding of the problem is that while on the VPN, traffic to autoqa.fedoraproject.org is not routed over the VPN connection, rather routed over the default network device.
I have not been successful, nor have I spent much time, investigating how to ensure connections to autoqa.fp.org are routed through the VPN connection.
