re2c Needs Testing in EPEL7

Good afternoon, fellow epel-devel members. I've submitted an re2c package to testing and would appreciate if others could test it. This package is required for openvpn-auth-ldap and for building spamassassin rulesets (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1212912) I've been using this build of re2c against my Copr build of openvpn-auth-ldap in production without any issues and I'd appreciate getting it out there. Hello list, I've built an environment-modules based gcc-5.3.1 for RHEL6 that lives side-by-side with vendor packages - it installs to /opt/ and has a name{version} scheme to avoid conflicts, which I'd like to include in EPEL6. In accordance with the guidelines (https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/EPEL/GuidelinesAndPolicies#Still_unsure_if_a…) I'm asking here if this is appropriate or, if not, how can I modify it so gcc-5 can make it into EPEL. I can provide a working srpm for both binutils2.26 and gcc5.3.1 (the binutils is required, and also builds to /opt and enabled via modules). Thanks in advance

Hi, %{python2_sitelib} doesn't exist on epel6 ? from https://copr-be.cloud.fedoraproject.org/results/sergiomb/builds_fo r_Stable_Releases/epel-6-i386/00173942-subdownloader/build.log.gz I got: RPM build errors: File must begin with "/": %{python2_sitelib}/subdownloader which means %{python2_sitelib} is wasn't defined . Simplifying use of Python 3 macros?

It seems that there's been an interest in simplifying .spec files that are shared between EPEL and Fedora. One thing that I just became familiar with is how clunky the Python 3 macros are in EPEL [1]. Is there anything that could be done in EPEL to make the Python 3 macros be usable without requiring %{python3_pkgversion}?
