Hi, This has come up in multiple conversations, with no answer.
With modularity coming up, I'm planning on transitioning KDE from epel8-playground to regular epel8 modules. I will have alot of packages that I no longer want in playground, but don't want removed from epel8. How do I do that?
My usual way, of doing a "fedpkg retire" on the epel8-playground branch, hasn't done anything for the packages I've tested it on. Yes, their dist-git was updated to say the package was retired, but it's been a week, and those packages are still in epel8-playground.

Honestly I don't think we ever came up with an idea of anything getting retired in playground.. so that is the 'answer'. We need to figure this out.

Ah, ok. That's fair enough. I'll keep a list, and when we get it figured out, we can work through the list.
Right now, the packages aren't hurting anyone/anything. So, I'm not in a hurry. But a year or two from now, especially if there are security issues, I'll be more concerned.
