Would restoring from backup bring the topology (three masters/replicas)
back to the state prior to removal?
If all you've lost is a replica it is better not to use the
backup/restore mechanism as explained in the documentation:
https://access.redhat.com/documentation/en-us/red_hat_enterprise_linux/7/...
and in the ipa-backup/ipa-restore man pages.
Our advice would be to rebuild that replica.
backup/restore is best used only when you cannot rebuild a working
cluster with the remaining members or when there are no members left.
