Is everyone getting a "Kernel failure" message

I haven't noticed any adverse effect from it.
(I did send the back-trace as requested.)
I notice that following the backtrace in /var/log/messages
it says
Nov 8 14:22:21 carrie kernel:
kobject_add_internal failed for 1 with -EEXIST,
don't try to register things with the same name in the same directory.
But I have no idea what this means.
It would be helpful if you could attach a bit more of the context around
this. There should be a bit of spew with it that would help us debug it.
