I know that, but some people, like myself, build fedora kernels for
centos (or rhel), so kernel-tools is actually built, and that is
precisely why I made the patch in the first place, and why I wanted it
backported.
If it is an inconvenience, I can keep reapplying it on my branches like
I do now.
Sure, that makes sense. It just honestly never even crossed my mind. I
had never considered that branched Fedora had anything whatsoever to
do with RHEL/CentOS, but the spec bits are there, so I can pull them
back before the rebase.
