It does work when you have multiple clients, so that the collision
is
not a big issue. You could also define which protocols should be used
to better distribute the workload.
What you want is active load balancing. That would periodically
distributes the streams among the ports. But that is disabled by
default in the current code and I don't if there is any plans to
enable it.
I am quite sure that Linux bonding does passive load balancing only.

With "tx_balancer": {"name": "basic"} set I understand you
can enable
it.
I should have been more clear, what I meant was using an applicable
algorithm with for example ip addressing on the client to ensure a few
specific clients always get a specified interface. This server is designated
mostly for a few specific clients, however coupling their addressing etc
just seems like more trouble than its worth.
