Hi Jiri and Flavio,
After a quick brush up on the rfc it does seem any effort to coerce a group
of clients reliably would be a management burden that wont scale anyway.
It does work when you have multiple clients, so that the collision is
not a big issue. You could also define which protocols should be used
to better distribute the workload.
What you want is active load balancing. That would periodically
distributes the streams among the ports. But that is disabled by
default in the current code and I don't if there is any plans to
enable it.
I am quite sure that Linux bonding does passive load balancing only.
