Hi list
How do I install a different distribution as a guest/domU on Fedora core 5 dom0?
I just want to install ubuntu or debian sarge onto a lvm partition.
Is there anyone out there with at working approach?
I've tried a debootstrap for Fedora etc. but I get errors that chroot doesn't work.
I've also tried to make a boot partition, but then I get kernel panic.
I use the 64 bit FC5 edition, maybe that's my trouble?
Thanks
Lars

Search the archives for various suggestions..

I've used rpmstrap to get a bare-minimum CentOS version installed, then booted into it and used yum as normal to get the other stuff I wanted installed.
