I just heard back from the fedora yum maintainers and there are new
yum
builds for F14 [1] and F15 [2] that include the loop-breaking fix to
help mitigate the infinite yum loops we're seeing (#322).
They've just been submitted for testing and they haven't been pushed
to
updates-testing yet.
Great news! I'll spend some time testing those updates so that we can push it to
stable updates ASAP.
We'll need to do a custom yum build for F13 to
get
the same fix on our F13 hosts.
I don't think it's really worth it. EOL (End Of Life) for Fedora 13 is most
probably June 24th.
