Can you provide:
rpm -q collectd collectd-sensors
I think I have found the problem now.
My priorities for rpmforge were set at 10, and my priorities
for epel were 99.
Here is the output before changing the epel priorities set
at 99, and then again after setting epel priorities the same
as rpmforge:
1497 packages excluded due to repository priority
protections
Installed Packages
lyx-fonts.i386 1.6.10-1.el5
installed
Available Packages
lyx.i386 1.5.6-1.el5.rf
rpmforge
lyx-common.i386 1.6.10-1.el5
epel
[root@karsites ~]# yum list lyx\*
*snip*
233 packages excluded due to repository priority protections
Installed Packages
lyx-fonts.i386 1.6.10-1.el5
installed
Available Packages
lyx.i386 1.6.10-1.el5
epel
lyx-common.i386 1.6.10-1.el5
epel
So that appears to have fixed the problem now.
I also did a 'yum clean all' and 'yum makecache' just to
make sure I had the right metadata for all those repos.
Thanks for all the help,
Kind Regards,
Keith Roberts
