Hi Jim,
thank you, for your fast response.
Refering to your tip i tryd some things in my modbus project.
I extended it with 2 Number_Fields and the following connections.
Number_Field_1 OUT7 ---> Number_Field_2 IN7 (just to see Field_1's
Output)
Number_Field_1 OUT7 ---> Modbus RTU Master IN0
When i run the project now, i can change the conntent of Number_Field_1
and
also i can see the changes in Number_Field_2.
If i correctly understand your tip, i would expect to see changes in the
serial port monitor.
In my case i would expect "01 02 00 00 Number_Field_1 as HEX CRC"?
But unfortunately ther is no influence between Number_Field_1 and serial
output,
i just see 01 02 00 00 00 20 CRC. (00 20 is evertime constant)
Do you have any idea what else i can do to resolve my problem?
Best regards
Roman

Roman,
without digging into MODBUS protocol and exactly checking every byte of
the
sequence you have shown here: the missing bytes are the data bytes,
means they
are influenced by the data you set at the input of the MODBUS-plug-in.
In other
direction - when you receive some data - these bytes are changed from
your
device, there they contain the data you read from it.
