Hi,
I'm Agrata Patel, currently an undergraduate sophomore in Design. I'm
interested in applying for Fedora UI/UX Research and Design Intern
through Outreachy. I have somewhat prior experience in the field of
design. My IRC nickname is bournvita and so is the FAS username. Feel
free to look through mybehance portfolio

Hi Agrata, welcome to the Fedora Outreachy mailing list. Thanks for
introducing yourself, and we're happy to have you here with us! Looks
like you have a good amount of design experience from your portfolio and
blog.
I want to know more about this project. What are your expectations
from
this project and the intern who is going to work on the Design aspect of
it? I have seen the pagure repository of the app and downloaded it from
the Google Play Store. Fedora has a lot more diversity than what is
being portrayed in the app. Do you want to add those details in the app
too (similar to what's available in the official website and wiki)? Are
you planning to give it more offical feeling?
There is some discussion about the vision for the application in this
issue on the Pagure repo:
https://pagure.io/Fedora-app/issue/1
The discussion there may give more background context. Otherwise, these
specific questions are best answered by the project mentors.
Please guide me and help me understand ^_^
I also recommend reading through the archives of this mailing list to
see previous discussion about the project and other tips for applying.

I hope this is helpful. Let us know if you have any other questions.
