Hi,
I'm Aakanksha Jain, currently in my 2nd year B.tech CSE, from Jaipur.
I'm interested in working on above project and you were listed as mentor.
I've been coding in python and recently I've tried making a mini project
using python3, beautifulsoup, urllib,
requests.(https://github.com/accakks/RSGOC-project-chooser

I'm interested to learn more and more about this, and that is the reason
this project fascinates me.
Can you guide me more on how to make contributions to this project?
Thankyou.

Hi Aakanksha, welcome to the Outreachy mailing list and thanks for
introducing yourself.
The best place to start is to become familiar with fedmsg, the tool that
this project is based off of. Understanding these tools is important to
understand what we want to do with the Perceval plugin with fedmsg.
Fedora has a live "messaging bus" of activity happening throughout the
project. It's a lot of raw data by itself, but we have tools to help us
make sense of the data.

If fedmsg is the "data bus", then datagrepper is a tool we use to filter
the data and make sense of little bits of it at a time. You can actually
perform datagrepper queries from real Fedora data (it might be more
interesting and helpful for you to set up datagrepper in a development
environment instead of fedmsg itself).

If you are eager to get started, check out some of the GitHub issues for
fedmsg and datagrepper. See if any of them feel like something you could
work on. I'm not able to offer much assistance on these, but Sachin
(skamath in IRC) is more familiar with the tools if you have questions.

I hope this is helpful. Do you have any questions for us?
