Hi,
I am developing an app which uses libqb's loop feature. I'd like to
know the maximum elapsed time in nanoseconds a job/timer/poller takes to
make sure my app (cape-ssh at
http://pacemaker-cloud.org) is really
non-blocking.
A build-time option would be good (don't want to slow down the rest of
the users that don't use the feature with getting the system time).
Another option is to add a new api that takes a loop and specifies a
callback function to be called (containing as a parameter the elapsed
time, and for extra credit the offending function name) when a new high
water mark is set on nanosecond consumption and only executing the timer
calculations when the api is used.
Another option is a test patch which I could use for this purpose, but
not merge into the mainline.
thanks!
