Unfortunately, I am traveling this week, so if someone else would like
to make further changes, please do, as I am not sure how much time I
will have to test.
I made the following changes.
I added the -m option which is needed in some cases for -i686.
I added &>/dev/null || : to the prelink commands.
I added a check to livesys to turn off running prelink using code from
live-kde-base.
