I saw a couple places where spin owners might want to build up some content to help promote their spins:
* The Marketing team has a section on the talking points page for new Spins. In some places there are missing links or more information is needed about particular spins.
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Fedora_13_Talking_Points#Spins
* The spins.fedoraproject.org web content doesn't yet reflect the current spin content in the "master" branch. I believe the Security spin has already been added, but the other new spins don't have any content in the fedora-web repo's folder for spins.fp.o. If you need help understanding or creating that content, you can consult the websites@ list or come by #fedora-websites on IRC Freenode.
The missing spins right now look to be Design Suite, Moblin(TM), and Sugar on a Stick. Howver, I'm not sure whether or how the Moblin spin is affected by the MeeGo merger, nor whether SoaS was intended to be offered via spins.fp.o. In the latter case it seems like we should at least have a page with links to a canonical download area, if we're not offering it ourselves.
Let me know if any of this stuff is underway and I just missed it, or if there's specific information or help you need from another team, just say so.

Moblin 2.2, I think, was dropped as a F-13 feature so I'm undecided about the status of the spin. I'm still very hopeful that I can get it done in time but unfortunately upstream is not overly open so its a matter of juggling. If it happens it will be a Meego 1 based spin. I'm still working towards it and hoping the planetary alignment happens in time.
SoaS is intended to be offered as an official spin from spins.fp.o, I've just taken over the lead of this from Sebastian, I'll review all the details next week when I'm back fully in front of fully connected devices :-)

...and I'm really thankful that Peter has taken it over while I'm busy with school stuff. :)
On the webpages: I know that Mel was working at Allegheny with Matt and a group of students and it was on their list: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Allegheny_Activism:_Team_Assignments
We should probably make sure that things are ready in time, though. The one week slip might have been helpful there.

I wanted to thank the spin owners who have spent some time beefing up these pages -- and also Mel Chua, Michelle Kim, and a number of other folks who have created banners, text, and templates for these spins.
It seems to me that we could improve our process for getting these done if we tracked spin sites in our schedule somehow. That doesn't guarantee that other teams will automatically provide people-power for making the necessary content, but it would at least give the spin owners and SIG a way to know when they need to more urgently ask for help, before the eleventh hour. Would this be helpful?
I think it would be extremely helpful and a welcome change.

Awesome! So to get things started, I need the Spins group to lay out a few milestones that are important. You can start with the F-13 schedule, and just a few items that you would like to see happen next cycle, pretending that F-13 is the next cycle. That will help us figure out how to lay those items into the F-14 cycle.
You could start with the design items above, and you could easily include some other milestones that you think are important. Feel free to toss them around here on the list and once you have something you guys like, we can get John Poelstra to help us figure out how to integrate them into the schedule files.

Well, things I would love to see adding/more tracking on:
- Last date to submit a new spin (this would need to include the time for review and trademark approval if any)
- Some kind of 'spin freeze' where we don't allow new kickstart changes unless reviewed by the list/SIG
- Nightly composes start using the branched repo (this should be right after the branched repo exists), just as a reminder/note that it's not composing from rawhide anymore.
- Time to submit screenshots and text for spins.fedoraproject.org.
Anyone have others ? Or ideas when we should set most of these?
