Great write-up! I wonder if we should focus on verifying using only
autotest-client, and only mention autotest-server as an exceptional
case
(or not at all)? Anything that requires someone to follow the
autotest
setup instructions [1] to validate their test will most certainly
scare them off.

Thank you, I agree, we will consider local testing as default and
link to autotest-server stuff as more advanced usage.
Just be merciful with the wordplay, for us non-english it sometimes
takes non-trivial brain power to puzzle it out :)
