Hej. My old trigger don't work any more. None of my test triggers are executed either. I have them in /var/lib/cobbler/triggers/install/post How are you supposed to write triggers these days? If you do not already have one, you can register for one here: https://admin.fedoraproject.org/accounts The FAS account allows you to do all sorts of stuff in Fedora. Once you have a FAS account you can log in using it here: https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/login And finally to file a new Trac item: https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/newticket Also note that I am unsure whether you will able to log in to the cobbler site immediately after you create your FAS account. There may be some propagation delay. If you cannot log in right away please wait an hour and try again. After that you will be set for life. Please let me know if you have any problems!

I have a few more questions in the ticket. It looks like I was wrong and triggers do have an entry point, but it has to be called from your kickstart file. So the kickstart template and generated kickstart file would be helpful in determining the issue.

Also can you check your httpd access and error logs to make sure that the cobbler mod_python script is getting run and not erroring in some way?

According to the code path, you can't possibly see "True" as the output of the http call without getting something in the log file. But the page suggest that it is slower than pure python. And that you should build a modular one. But it don't say where to put your modular trigger.
