Hi all,
Is it possible to set the MTU on an interface somewhere in the standard cobbler system settings? Or will we need to write a snippet to achieve this?
It would be nice to be able set the MTU with the system edit command, e.g.
cobbler system edit --name=blah --mac=00:00:00:00:00 --ip=10.0.0.2 --subnet=255.255.255.0 --static=1 --interface=eth1.105 --mtu=9000
But this currently gives...
cobbler: error: no such option: --mtu
We'd like to be able to change the MTU on some interfaces to support jumbo frames. Is this something that is likely to be added any time soon? and is there a preferred method for setting the MTU in the meantime?
Regards,

What version of cobbler are you using? I added an ipv4 and ipv6 mtu field awhile back and those patches were accepted. ipv4 mtu should be a field in the web interface and the cli in the latest greatest versions.
