Bug ID: 1136722
Summary: 「」 cannot be typed with ibus-kkc when the German
keyboard layout is used, only [] are inserted then
Product: Fedora
Version: 20
Component: ibus-kkc
Assignee: dueno(a)redhat.com
Reporter: mfabian(a)redhat.com
QA Contact: extras-qa(a)fedoraproject.org
CC: dueno(a)redhat.com, i18n-bugs(a)lists.fedoraproject.org
ibus-kkc-1.5.20-1.fc20.x86_64
German keyboard layout:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/QWERTZ#mediaviewer/File:KB_Germany.svg
Note that the characters [ and ] are typed with the key combinations
AltGr+8 and AltGr+9.
To reproduce the problem:
- add the German keyboard layout as an input source
- select the German layout
- select kkc
- type AltGr+8 (RightAlt+8)
→ The result is [, not 「
kkc should work with the German layout as well. When typing [ it
should convert to 「, no matter whether [ is on a regular key (like on
the US or Japanese keyboard layouts) or on a key combination using the
AltGr (ISO_Level3_Shift) modifier.
