Hi, Andrew & Matt.
Thanks for contacting me. I'm not presently aware of any problems with
mirror.cs.princeton.edu, but am looking out for them. If I read our logs correctly, I take
it you are coming to us from 128.187.81.254. I see a few incomplete downloads in the log,
but that is not surprising. There are a few instances where your connections are getting
denied because the server has reached its connection limit. I don't know if anaconda
handles that situation gracefully, but if it doesn't, that could explain your problem.
Unfortunately, our central IT compels us to restrict the connections to our mirror server
at some level.
Matt: does this mean we shouldn't be published in the round-robin? If so, we'll
need to find a way to address it somehow or other.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I'm testing an install
of Fedora 15 Alpha, and I'm getting many errors from
ftp://mirror.cs.princeton.edu.
Here's an example of one of them:
14:57:46,880 WARN anaconda: Try 1/10 for
http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/15-Alpha...
failed: [Errno 12] Timeout on
ftp://mirror.cs.princeton.edu/pub/mirrors/fedora/linux/releases/test/15-A...:
(28, '')
14:57:47,141 WARN anaconda: Failed to get
http://download.fedoraproject.org/pub/fedora/linux/releases/test/15-Alpha...
from mirror 1/1, or downloaded file is corrupt
What's the best way to notify people if I see a problem like this with a mirror?
