Yes it should honor the http_proxy environment variable, as it's using
urllib. You can always grab it manually and copy it in place:
That is a great catch. It is behind a firewall (actually, more then

Should it honour http_proxy shell variable setting? I tried to set it up,
so that for example, "wget
www.cnn.com" works, but I still get the same
error.
On the other hand, why is it not using the local updated signature file
that I updated?
