"dhcpd wasnt ordered in configfile to hand out ips to these macs"
The IP block that is shown (212.72.134.64/26) is the IP block that
the router is on, and some servers, but the the server where CentOS
should be installed in in another IP block (212.72.166.26) [again,
IPs altered].
Then the network-equipment (i.e. router) has to forward the dhcp-
request onto the cobbler-server.
Do you detect any error here that would cause the "no free
leases" note?
dhcpd is currently configured to just respond to dhcpdiscovers from
the one mac you mention in dhcpd.conf .
I suspect the dhcprelaying to not be configured. Again, sniffing on
the interface you should try to match incoming packets if they are
the forwarded ones from your remote box. If these do not appear on
the network-interface of your cobbler-server then the relaying of
the request doesnt work.
Maybe you should read some docs on how dhcp works in environments with
dhcp-relaying, and how to debug it.

Wondering that there is not subnet-declaration for the net-
work of the to-be-installed box.. but maybe thats not required
any more.
