Hello Ron:
Good to see your name.
Thank you for the suggestion, but you 'lost' that one :)
So, yes, "pxe_just_once" was enabled.
Howewever ... still doesn't work after I had changed it, and done the
Sync and restart. I also changed the boot order on the
to-be-installed server, so that I had to choose PXE booting using the
F-10 or F-12 key (not sure if that would make a difference). Not
working. Furthermore, on another server, a server were cPanel had not
been installed, Cobbler works just fine (with that pxe_just_once
enabled setting).
Do you know where those records for servers were an install was
performed get saved on the Cobbler server? I mean, maybe somehow the
settings file update does not overwrite other settings as it then
should, and I may try to 'delete' them manually. That, of course, is
just a wild uneducated guess.
Best,
Frank
I bet you have pxe_just_one set in /etc/cobbler/settings and the
servers
your trying to 're-install' are configured to local boot via pxe.
Go into the webgui of cobbler and enable netboot for the system(s) your
trying to rebuild and then do a sync...
