Please read my post. I tried what you described first, and it
did not work well. Mainly, it breaks the hierarchy capability
described in:
https://fedorahosted.org/cobbler/wiki/KickstartSnippets#AdvancedSnippets
Creating subdirectories in /var/lib/cobbler/snippets works well, just
do 'subdir/snippet' for the name. It should work fine if you want to
have multiple levels like
sub1/sub2/snippet. I don't think moving things to multiple top-level
directories is a good idea.
