Does anyone know how to contact itamarjp? I've been trying to contact him through BZ[0] regarding a security flaw in ytnef that's been open for going on five years.

have you asked commit access in pkgdb ?
if you have power to commit without having access in pkgdb please go ahead.

Are you saying you no longer wish to maintain the package? I have no interest in this particular package but am trying to clean up Fedora and EPEL repos of outstanding CVEs.
If you aren't planning on maintaining the package perhaps asking someone else to maintain it or retiring it would be best.

On the topic of joining the packager group as a co-maintainer, I guess there are enough packages that could benefit from co-maintainers doing an update/commit from time to time.
Just been cleaning up crowded mail folders and noticed that Sylpheed 3.4.3 has been released but is not in Fedora dist git or Rawhide yet. And a ticket about a missing appdata file in the package has not been responded to either. The package maintainer(s) may have missed the fact that GNOME Software does not "find" Sylpheed due to that.
