freerdp-2.0.0-6.git.ca2d015.fc25 was submitted to Rawhide yesterday,
with no soname bump notification that I can find. It changed the soname
provides for the various freerdp libraries from:
libfreerdp-foo.so.2.0()
to:
libfreerdp-foo.so.2()
this breaks all packages which depend on these libraries, requiring
them to be rebuilt. This change should have been notified in advance,
and rebuilds of dependent packages co-ordinated. This broke compose of
the Workstation live image:
https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//work/tasks/9324/13759324/anaconda.log
Please be more careful with this in future. It looks like vinagre and
weston must be rebuilt for this, I will send builds of both.
I also note the package has quite a lot of Provides: libfoo.so -
http://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/rpminfo?rpmID=7619316 - which look
bogus, they look like plugins; these may possibly cause problems and
should probably be filtered, I think, unless these are actually
intended to be shared libraries). See:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Packaging:AutoProvidesAndRequiresFiltering...
for more on this.
