Bluetooth functionality seems to be broken in Fedora 7 on Intel
Macbooks (
http://smolt.fedoraproject.org/show?UUID=6715696a-23ab-4352-a334-956ba094...).
I was trying to connect to a Nokia 3110C, and even though neither the
mobile nor the laptop could discover each other initially, the steps
in
http://thpinfo.com/2006/siemens-s68-linux-obexfs seemed to do the
trick.
Isn't this supposed to happen out of the box? Is this fixed in Fedora
8 or Rawhide? Should I file a bug?
This is what I had installed:
bluez-gnome-0.8-2.fc7
bluez-utils-3.9-2.fc7
bluez-libs-3.9-1.fc7
gnome-bluetooth-libs-0.9.1-1.fc7
gnome-bluetooth-0.9.1-1.fc7
obexfs-0.11-0.1.rc2.fc7
openobex-1.3-5.fc7
obexftp-0.22-0.3.rc6.fc7
Cheers,
Debarshi
