If I drop Liberation Sans Regular (downloaded from https://github.com/liberationfonts/liberation-fonts/releases) and Arial Regular into http://www.cyreal.org/Font-Testing-Page/index.php, LSR modifies Layout as it seems to have less headroom. That does not happen with Arimo. This is a show-stopper.
