Hi All,
I just upgraded from Fedora 28 to 29 and Xfce 4.12 to 4.13.
The background colors of my panel one and panel two have some dark
background color, making them hard to read, especial the date and time.
Far right of panel 1 on the top
Far left of panel 2 on the bottom

How do I adjust this?

FWIW, I'm seeing this too with the following applets:
- redshift-gtk
- nm-applet
- pulseaudio plugin
Launchers and "native" XFCE-stuff appears unaffected here.

Perhaps, the theme you are using is not gtk-3?
My "Pulse Audio Plugin" (far upper right) is completely invisible.
Shaw I report this as a bug?

The theme is ClearlooksClassic, whatever that means.
Just noticed an interesting thing though: the dark backgrounds are on my
personal desktop. On my work laptop, also using ClearlooksClassic and
gone through similar upgrade path, the same three applets appear exactly
as they should. So it seems like a missing package or other such
configuration issue rather than an actual bug, even if it only appeared
after this particular upgrade.
However on the laptop, power manager and hexchat tray icons are on dark
backround, don't have those in the desktop setup so dunno if they'd
behave similarly there.

I recently upgraded from 28 to 29 and then found the theme I have been
using(ClearlooksClassic) stops working. Not only ClearlooksClassic, but
also a lot others like Clearlooks, mist, Crux, Glider etc. Changing theme
to them like nothing happened. I think they are all gtk-2 themes, so is it
that gtk2 themes are no longer supported?
Another weird thing is, mouse scroll stops working in theme selection window
but works well in other places. Not sure if this is related.

To be more specific, changing theme to any of the gtk-2 themes wii cause
Adwaita being used, it feels like Adwaita is the fallback theme when things
go wrong.
