It would be nice to have a way to group upgrades:
<snip>
Then we could do something like:
> sudo dnf upgrade --enablerepo=updates-testing
--advisory-group=FEDORA-30-xfce-4.14pre2
I realize the above doesn't make much sense, since it's already
possible to group multiple packages in a single update, and packages
are updated separately on purpose here.
Apparently DNF has both --advisory and --advisories options, but they
look similar in use. And I don't have time to give it a try.
I will give them a spin this weekend.
I have bugs to report, but I have no idea which component is
responsible for the feature, I would assume xfwm4.
Using the "Cycle windows" keyboard shortcut (Alt+Tab on my system, I
think the default too) a window appears with thumbnails of open
windows in most recently used order. Without releasing the Alt key I
can press Tab again to cycle through windows.
Sometimes there's a noticeable delay for the "Cycle windows" window to
redraw itself. Sometimes the window is all black and the screen blinks
whenever I press Tab while keeping Alt down.
The next bug is reproducible on my end, but again, I don't know who is
responsible, assuming xfwm4 again.
Whenever I use systemd-nspawn it messes with my keyboard shortcuts,
and trying to close a window with Alt+F4 brings me to tty4. Pressing
Ctrl+Alt+F1 brings me back to my Xfce session, and once back I can
witness the effect of my attempted Alt+F4 kicking in (either the
window closing or prompting me something before closing). I usually do
a hard reboot to get rid of this problem, but didn't check whether
starting a new Xfce session is enough (I suspect it is).
I won't be able to follow up on anything for a while, apologies in advance.
