if im running cdrecord -scanbus i get this.
[root@simba root]# cdrecord -scanbus Cdrecord-Clone 2.01a25 (i686-pc-linux-gnu) Copyright (C) 1995-2004 J?rg Schilling cdrecord: No such file or directory. Cannot open '/dev/pg*'. Cannot open SCSI driver. cdrecord: For possible targets try 'cdrecord -scanbus'. Make sure you are root. cdrecord: For possible transport specifiers try 'cdrecord dev=help'. [root@simba root]#

Use cdrecord -scanbus dev=ATAPI: instead and specify devices with "dev=ATAPI:/dev/hdc" or "dev=ATAPI:0,0,0".

Use cdrecord -scanbus dev=ATAPI: instead and specify devices with "dev=ATAPI:/dev/hdc" or "dev=ATAPI:0,0,0".
Once you figure out what the device is, edit /etc/cdrecord.conf and add a line like:
CDR_DEVICE=cdrw
cdrw= ATAPI:0,0,0 48 4m burnfree
After you do this, you should never have to specify dev= again (unless you have multiple burners).

Wrong list. Try fedora-list@redhat.com.
Actually, since the question has to do with a test release, fedora-test-list@redhat.com
