Sorry I'm wrong, it's managed by NetworkManager but *not* as a symlink. It's
just edited in-place.
Hmm. There are different solutions in the wild:
$ exa -l /etc/resolv.conf
lrwxrwxrwx@ 35 root 28 wrz 2019 /etc/resolv.conf ->
/var/run/NetworkManager/resolv.conf
This is Fedora 32, initially installed a decade or so ago, and upgraded.
