No, not in any meaningful way, although I assume all of the problems
have been worked out in the testing done already.
Yum just uses text matching.
So some work needs to be done at the yum layer to make upgrades and install
of foreign rpms reasonably smooth, I gather?
But you can add:
Provides: /bin/foo
Ugh! Will that be needed that across the distro for a release or two?
