Technically, fixing all packages with the assumption "there is a MTA
already installed" and "file for log will be there" are also part of the
feature that would have needed work.
They are broken regardless of this feature. They will break if a user
does "yum remove sendmail" or "yum remove rsyslog"
If they require something they should well require it ;)
