Seriously though, I'm pretty sure that Arjan et al have made it clear
that this change was intentional and is here to stay.
That not at all what he said. Your characterization is wrong.
He said, "I rather not have renamed it either..." and "changing name
really doesn't attract me too much, changing this twice is
twice the pain ;(".
I see no "here to stay" in there at all.
