Except that the depsolving is done by rpm libraries which are C, so invalid
argument.
I stand corrected then. My mistake.
Also the "slow" process of loading metadata in from disk
has an optional
(installed by default) c plugin to speed that part up.
I know I'll be flogged for asking it... which one? (The only I'm aware
of [and using] is fastestmirror [1])
