Gnucash is overkill for checkbook balancing. Now, if you want to replace
QuickBooksPro, Gnucash is a good fit.

Quantity!=quality. We do have a few nice fonts; and lots of not-so-nice
fonts.
Anyway, thanks for the thourough and detailed analysis. There is
indeed some trimming to be done.
