I second to that. I think it's time to let gstreamer 0.10 get removed
from the distro.
Unfortunately, some (current) proprietary software like VMware Horizon
Client still depends on it [1]. I did mention this on their user forums
[2], but it might take a while for them to migrate to gstreamer1.
