I'm planning to get a parted2 compatibility package into Fedora ASAP (and I am really angry at the parted maintainers both upstream and in Fedora for having broken parted that way).

For me some packages just can't be orphaned, 1st - if no substitute for then and still works well , (with a koji mass rebuild). 2nd - if we orphan a package we should suggest the replacement, if we have a replacement no problem.

I can take kde-partitionmanager and take also smb4k, I have a update for latest stable version of smb4k : smb4k-0.10.12-1.fc16.i686.rpm smb4k-0.10.12-1.fc16.x86_64.rpm smb4k-devel-0.10.12-1.fc16.i686.rpm smb4k-devel-0.10.12-1.fc16.x86_64.rpm quite happy with it. I will put in where http://www.serjux.com/smb4k if you want test it , I also will submit a review , when I had time ...
