Hi list,
how does one track downstream packages these days? The instructions on https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Tracking_downstream_packages do not seem to work anymore, and neither does their dnf flavour:
$ sudo dnf repoquery --whatrequires `sudo dnf repoquery --provides zlib` Ostatnio sprawdzono ważność metadanych: 0:21:41 temu w dniu pon, 13 sie 2018, 20:13:27. Ostatnio sprawdzono ważność metadanych: 0:21:42 temu w dniu pon, 13 sie 2018, 20:13:27.

So it appears there is an issue with piping the output of the first dnf call to the second.
Best regards, Julian

You don't need this nested call, because --alldeps are now the default.
$ dnf repoquery --whatrequires zlib.x86_64|wc -l 3162

Thanks, it's working!

Note that --alldeps (eventhough it is probably default nowadays) doesn't work for source repositories (rhbz#1618005), at least if I'm not mistaken.
