Hello
I have laptop Lenovo X201 with fedora for a long time. I haven't had any problem with HW support up to release 25. Started with F25 beta - system started to be unstable and I'm not sure why. I can log in and work for while - from a few tens of minutes to 1-3 hours. Than display turns to black with tiny line on left and after few seconds laptop is switched off (shutdown).
I've though it is problem of release 25 but the same is in F26 beta. Can it be because of Gnome on wayland?
I have more distribution on this laptop (Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon and Xfce, CentOS 7, Fedora 24, Fedora 25 KDE.
I've never had this behaviour in F24 or CentOS 7 (which I've used regularly
until now)
Have you seen something similar? Where should I report it in bugzilla?

Hi, First of all, make sure to try Gnome on Xorg or KDE session (you should see this option after clicking on "gear" icon on login screen). Is it stable?
Can you check abrt for anything suspicious?

Hello
After another testing it looks more like Intel HD Graphics (i915) problem (xorg-x11-drv-intel or kernel).
I've tried add "video=DP-1:d" to grub boot line but it didn't help. Screen went to black after cca 2.5 hour and after that laptop shutdown. It is really hard to test it because crash comes suddenly in different periods.
I couldn't find any solution on Google.

Hello Pavel,
I had the same issue. I had it with both Wayland and Xorg. But I have no idea how to reproduce it, so I gave up the idea of bugreporting it and just added a comment here: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1297837
Anders Blomdell mailto:anders.blomdell@gmail.com added a link to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1398362 which looks to be solved. Can you check if you're using this 4.11 kernel and if the issue looks fixed?
I updated to F26, but I don't have an extensive use of my laptop at the moment and as I don't know how to reproduce it, I can't tell if it really is fixed.
hope it helps
