Maybe OT? Info Greylisting?

Might be OT for this list? I'm cc'd on vendors at fedoraproject dot org But the spam beats the ham by at least 30:1 Is there any greylisting \ similar in place. Puppet and or edits of non-wiki pages?

Which groups of the project looks after using puppet, editing non-wiki web-pages? Couldn't seen this info on infra services\ web services. I would be looking only in releation to a small subset, relation to freemedia stuff. While I'm here what web-server backends are used. eg If a web-app was created in ruby what would it run on. Specifically I enjoy working with PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, Python, linux administration and information security but I hope to continue to develop and expand my skills. I have had about 4 yrs. experience (junior level) working with RHEL, Apache/NGINX, Nagios, FortiNet, Procera Packetlogic and other technologies. Greetings Everyone, I would like to volunteer and be part of fedora project. I have been using linux for sometime now and would like to be a part of the community not just as passive user but also as an active contributor. I worked as associate system engineer/administrator and recently completed my redhat certification ie RHCE on version 6.0 hence I hope that I will be able to contribute in infrastructure team. However I am open to any way I can contribute. I can at the moment spend about 10 hours or about 2 hours a day on volunteer work for fedora project. Another reason why I want to work as volunteer is that it will help me understand the how such projects are carried out, I would be able to learn more about over all linux systems. I have worked at L1 level of system administration so I have some exposure in remote infrastructure manangement. I have completed the following primary steps incase of any discrepancies would hope to be guided accordingly. # I have completed registration on Fedora portal and registered my account. My Login id is : *technocratamit* # I have filled and signed the FPCA forum # I have also registered my nickname on Freenode IRC Network. Hello there. Here's my proper introduction to the list. My name is Ilya, my IRC handle is thesharp. I live in Moscow, Russia (GMT+4) and work as a Senior Linux Systems Administrator. I have a Linux experience since 2003. I have a huge interest in package maintenance (it's another topic though), puppet management and using nagios to monitor my things. Recently when I was thinking about what to do with some of my free time, I've decided to give something back -- to help the community and the Fedora project. I have no problem spending some of my work time at $dayjob helping Fedora Infrastructure since when you are doing something -- you learn something, and learning is always good thing to do. The main problem I see is my $TZ. When it's noon in US [the meeting time] -- it's 11pm here in Moscow. :) But since i'm going to bed late it's no problem for me to attend Fedora Infrastructure meetings. Currently I see some open tickets about monitoring things and I think I can help with that. At my $dayjob I use openvz for virtualization so I would like to learn how is it on the other side -- kvm thing. As Fedora Infrastructure use RHEL6/kvm instances I see it as a great place to watch how things are going on and learn a bit. I already made my introduction at #fedora-meeting today so I would like to be added to fi-apprentice group to start watching over how things are working and suggest fixes to some tickets. Request for resources: Darkserver

Hi all, I have filed the RFR for Darkserver at https://fedorahosted.org/fedora-infrastructure/ticket/3054 Darkserver is a service written to help people finding details of build-id(s). People will be able query the service based on build-id(s) or rpm package names. The service will provide output in JSON format as it will be easier for other tools to parse the output. The initial requirement of the service came up from discussions with devels like Mark Wielaard and Jan Kratochvil The application is already reviewed for Fedora, waiting for the git access. The ideas behind the project and setup details are being documented properly at https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Darkserver. Waiting for the suggestions and comments here.
